15 July 14 Limewood is almost complete!

Limewood, a 59 bed dementia care home on Northfield Village, is almost complete! Final touches are being added by contractors, Galliford Try.

Due to open next month, Limewood is part of Northfield Village in Stafford and will provide residential, nursing and respite care for people with dementia.

Residents and staff at the nearby council-run care home are eager to move in to the state-of-the-art building as soon as possible. Referrals and applications are also being accepted from relatives and healthcare professionals.

The “High Street” at Limewood (a unique dementia hub) is also almost finished. It will offer residents and relatives a range of facilities, including advice and support. The '50s style street scene will include a cinema, hairdressers, pub and meeting room.

Choices are currently recruiting a Dementia Chamption to co-ordinate activities on this High Street. If this job is right up your street, you can find out more about the vacanices on the Choices website.
